This series made a lot of buzz when the first book came out. The story is about a politician's daughter and a a marine who weren't supposed to fall in love. But of course, they did. They face a lot of things over the course of two books: her father's wishes, his position and the nature of his career, and the differences between their stations in life. I always thought this must be a very romantic series. :)
